"Serve the Lord with celebration. Come before Him with shouts of joy." Psalm 100:1,2 CEB
Each Sunday we gather to praise God in a worship experience that honors both contemporary and traditional forms of worship. We join our hearts and voices in a sincere "thank you" to our loving God for doing for us and in us that which we could not do for ourselves! Each fifth Sunday we share in special services of worship followed by a fellowship meal.
Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month (yes - you and your children are invited!) We encourage you to worship with us!
We value continued growth in our Christian faith. We offer Christian education opportunities for persons of all ages including Sunday school, Bible studies, small groups, and "Book Club."
Our pastor also teaches via her weekly messages, making the holy scriptures relevant to our daily lives.
"Teach the wise, and they will become wiser; inform the righteous and their learning will increase." Proverbs 9:9, CEB
"And serve each other according to the gift each person has received, as good managers of God's diverse gifts." 1 Peter 4:10
We encourage everyone at Grace to engage in acts of mercy that serve God's people. Each week we encourage involvement"down the street, around the corner, and throughout the world," through such ministries as: Praise Team, Bell & Sanctuary Choirs, "Holy Smokers" (smoked meats), Church Mouse Gift Shop, "Gracie's" (clothing & diaper ministry), Communion for the Homebound, prayers & Squares Quilt Ministry, chartible sewing & quilting, and mission teams just to name a few.
